Procedure

    The Accreditation Office of the International Control Commission (CIC) is situated in the Antequera Golf Club.  The function of the CIC will be to examine the individual dossiers and to validate the accreditation of the competitors and officials as well as any possible changes or re-accreditation.  The CIC control guarantees the age, nationality, and the student status of a competitor. 

    In order to participate at a FISU event, competitors (athletes) should comply with the following criteria based on Article 5.2 of the FISU Regulations: 

Be a national of the country they represent;

    Be at least 17 and less than 28 years of age on 1st January in the year of the event (i.e. must have been born between 1st January 1982 and 31st December 1992).

    Provide an official document signed by the appropriate academic authority that certifies his/her status as a full time student registered for studies towards a degree or diploma at a university or similar institute whose status as a higher education institution is recognised by the national academic authority of  that country;

    Former students of institutions mentioned above who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the previous year (i.e. 2007);

    Pay the required participation and registration fees due to the Organising Committee and FISU.

    Within 24 hours from arrival at Antequera, the Head of Delegation (or appointed representative) shall collect the passports and student certificate of each participant, and report to the Accreditation Office at the time he/she fixed with the FISU CIC. 

    There he/she will prepare the individual dossiers for each participant.
