STANDARD TIME
Spain standard time is one hour in advance of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT + 1) and six hours in advance of United States eastern standard time throughout the year. There are no time zone differences within the country, but there is one hour in advance of the Canary Islands.

- If you wish to call from Spain to another country, you must dial 00 following the country code and the phone number. To make your callings, you will find phone cabins which work with coins. You can also buy phone cards in tobacconist’s
- If you wish to call to Spain, you must dial the number without any prefixes. This number has always nine numbers, whenever it is a land or a mobile phone.
- If you wish to use your mobile phone in Spain, you should know that our coverage has GSM technology, which is not always compatible with the coverage of other countries such as United States or Japan. If your technology is compatible with ours, we recommend you contacting with your country’s operator, it will activate the roaming service on your mobile phone. Then you will be able to use your phone in Spain as it was a Spanish terminal, so you must dial 00 and your country code to make international callings.
