POST OFFICES
Post offices will open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 8h30 to 20h30; Saturdays from 9h30 to 13h. You can find the stamps in post offices or in tobacconist’s.
TIPS
You are not forced to give tips in Spain, because most of establishments include the service’s price in the total price. Nevertheless, the tips are recommended in bars and restaurants, hotels and cabs, but it depends on the amount and the generosity of the client, giving around 5 or 10 per cent of de total.
BANKS
Banks and saving banks will open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 8h30 to 14h.
LANGUAGES
Five official languages are spoken in Spain, namely, Castilian, Catalan, Galician, Basque and Valencian. All of them coexist with the Castilian in their own regions: Catalan is spoken in Catalonia (and variants of it on the Balearic Islands); Galician in Galicia; Basque in Basque Country; and Valencian in the Valencia Community.
