THE MEMBERS OF THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE WERE PRESENTS IN THE EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP WHICH TOOK PLACE IN PORTUGAL

Several members of the Organising Committee of the 13th World University Golf Championship, representing the University of Málaga, Antequera Golf and the Antequera town hall, attended Portugal on the occasion of the celebration of the 1st European University Golf Championship last week. Their objective was the promotion of the World Championship, which will be held in Antequera the next year, among the rest of the universities.
The University of Málaga, whose team participated representing Spain, obtained the first position in the women’s category thanks to Tatiana Morató, as well as the fifth position in the team’s category.
The director of the Secretariat of Sport of the University of Málaga, Pedro Montiel, the representative of Antequera Golf, Ramón Jiménez, his general manager, Eduardo Ferre, the technical manager of the Sports Sponsorship of Antequera, Pedro Aragón, the vice-director of the Antequera Golf Hotel, Christian Borín and the marketing manager, Enrique Toro attended the Championship. All of them, with the director of competitions of EUSA (European University Sport Association), Karl Berger, got to visit both golf courses where the tournament took place.
Antequera Golf will welcome the World University Golf Championship from the 7th the 11th June 2010.
